Course Description: The internet can be an amazing place to learn, connect, and have fun—but it’s important to know how to stay safe. This interactive class helps kids recognize online red flags, protect their privacy, understand what information and photos should never be shared, and recognize when someone’s behavior online may not be appropriate or trustworthy. Most importantly, kids will learn what to do when something feels wrong, who they can talk to, and how to ask for help without fear or embarrassment.

Course Description: The internet is full of information—and not all of it is true, helpful, or even created by a real person. In this interactive class, kids will learn how to recognize rage bait, spot bots, evaluate sources, understand how AI can create convincing content, and discover how algorithms influence what they see online. They’ll learn simple tools for asking the right questions, checking information, and thinking critically before they like, share, or believe what they see.

In this interactive class, kids will learn how advertisers use psychology, emotions, influencers, images, trends, and social media to persuade us. They’ll explore how advertising can shape our wants, expectations, and even how we feel about ourselves. Most importantly, kids will learn to recognize when they’re being persuaded and become smarter, more confident consumers.
